Pick Up & Drop Off on Monday and Saturday mornings from 9.30am - all other times message us or pop in when the board is out!

What is Weyshare?

Weyshare is a library of things.

A library of things is like an ordinary library but with things instead of books. People get in touch with donations of garden tools and other equipment they no longer use, we give them some TLC, then we lend them to other people for a fraction of what they would cost to buy.

Borrowing for a small fee saves you money and helps the environment by stopping things going to landfill, which is bad for the planet and wastes the energy and resources that went into making them in the first place. Re-using stuff that works also reduces the overall purchase/consumption of new stuff. So does it make sense? Of course it does.
  • Reserve & pay on this website or pay when you pick up
  • Do your job - then drop off

Become a member!

We require borrowers to become members before they can begin borrowing. This is a way for us to build a community of users, build a dialogue with them, get their feedback and let them know when we have new tools available. The membership fee, although small, also gives us a regular income.

To become a member click 'Register' at the top of this page and subscribe. Concerned about privacy? Check this out: Policies (weyforward.net)

Borrow!

Becoming a member of Weyshare gives you access to our online catalogue where you can find loads of items from spiral ratchet screwdrivers to fridges, and everything in between.  Select the item you would like to borrow, pick a day to come and collect from The Circular Shop at 30 Lennox Street, Weymouth, DT4 7HD.

...And that's it!

We're also on Facebook Weyshare | Facebook. Like us, Share us, do all of that stuff. And remember, don't buy it, borrow it!

(Unless you're gonna use it all the time, in which case, yeah, buy it.)
